My Dad has been at Knollwood for over 14 years and he has had the best care imaginable!!! My Mom was also there 6 years ago and passed away in good hands. If you're considering Knollwood for your retirement or your parents, I highly recommend this place. It's also has VERY beautiful grounds and lots of activities for the elderly.

While the facility itself is nice and the accommodations acceptable, I have serious reservations about the quality of nursing and medical care my mother is receiving there. The nurses and nurse assistants do not have the basic competency to empty, clean, and reassemble an ileostomy bag. My mother has been there for over 2 weeks and no one has been able to perform this basic function. It is disappointing and sad to find my mother in soiled sheets due to the lack of skill among the staff. I wish we had sent her someplace else. The head nurse tells me everything is ok and getting better but it has not.
