Forest Haven was home for our mother for the past several years. We have a very large and close family, and we enjoyed the privilege of being involved in Mom's well-being. She enjoyed regularly scheduled activities, arts and crafts, musical entertainment and year-round holiday celebrations. As a family we were always welcome! Mom fostered many wonderful friendships with both residents and caregivers. Tracy, the owner, along with her staff have provided excellent hands-on care. They have taken the time to get to know Mom's needs, her likes and dislikes, her strengths and her limitations. They have seen Mom through some very difficult medical challenges, always working to maintain Mom's comfort and her dignity. In recent months, however, it was clear that Mom needed greater support. Tracy and her staff did a beautiful job joining efforts with the hospice staff to support Mom, and the rest of the family, as we prepared to say good-bye. They were there for all of us through the entire journey, and continue to be there for us months later. Mom had a special relationship with the caring team at Forest Haven and we, as a family, will always be grateful for all of them.

My Grandmother has been a resident at Forest Haven for almost 5 years and my husband and I wouldnt have her anywhere else. We love Forest Haven, all the staff and the owner Tracy are great! The place is always clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff are very attentive and caring for our grandmothers needs. The manager Karen is always very helpful with arranging appointments and keeping us informed of care plans. They have a great activities director Julie who is so nice. I have recommended Forest Haven to others that have loved ones needing special care. Our grandmother loves being there and we cant say enough good things about Forest Haven!!

Very poor bedside manner from the owner Traci. My family and I are dealing with the death of my father and instead of being kind and caring and walking us through this. She finds it her place to tell us we are making her stuff uncomfortable for asking how he is doing that day or why didn't he eat or etc...and that obviously we are not handling the fact that he is dying maybe we should go by some books. Staff lies and says one thing and says another. We should be a family with our father right now but we have to deal with this owner causing trouble and more worried about stupid things then guiding us through this and making us feel at ease. Shame on them. Never would ever recommend this place to anyone.

Forest Haven is a wonderful place, not only for staff but more importantly for the patients and their families. I worked at Forest Haven for 2 years and absolutely loved it. The facility was always clean and neat and staff was very active with the patients and families. Residents were cared for as if they were family. They are very caring and loving towards the patients. Unfortunately I moved and could no longer work there anymore but would go back in a heartbeat. The owner and manager were the best people to work for. They were both always very involved in working with the staff and residents to ensure the best care was provided.
