I will be going here on the 28th May as soon as I get released from the hospital I am so happy and excited to move there it will be so peaceful and quiet no stress

My dad passed away after living there less than one month. When we went to clean out his apartment the Director of Nursing sat at the front desk visiting with two other people who worked there. After watching my daughter make several trips up and down carrying things she offered a cart. After watching us carry trash out to the dumpster she then said we could leave it and they would get it. We were done at that point. Not once did she offer her condolences. I called to let the facility know he passed away on Thursday and its now Saturday and I havent heard from anyone. Not one Im sorry. Clearly filling beds and collecting rent is all they are concerned with. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I had been talking with the Heritage Woods in Centralia about transferring him, and I did receive condolences from that administrator. This review is only about Heritage Woods in Mt Vernon.

Heritage Woods is an Amazing assisted living facility! My sister has lived there for over 2 years now. She is thriving and enjoying her life at 'The Woods.' You couldn't ask for a more friendly and attentive staff. She enjoys all the various activities that are available for her and the convenience of the restaurant style dining. I would recommend Heritage Woods of Mt. Vernon to anyone needing assisted living! My grandma has lived at Heritage Woods for 3 years. Our family always has a peace of mind that she is well cared for. She feels safe there. Their staff is absolutely AMAZING! They check on her often, and if she ever needs anything they will call us. If you have a loved one that is in need of assisted living, please put your trust in Heritage Woods and give them a call. We are so glad we did!
