I believe the staff and people that actually do the work at Arkanshire genuinely care about the residents. And if they were provided with more resources and funding from the owners/ they would do even more.However, as an example of the lack of funding and concern from corporate- my Dad's yard has looked like this for the last 3+ years. And the only time it had actual grass, my brother-in-law had to do the work to grow and maintain. However, a faulty sprinkle system left unchecked and unrepaired ended up flooding and drowning out the grass that he planted.We have been promised all summer for yet another summer that they would put sod down. Still hasn't happened.If you are considering Arkanshire as a home for your loved one and need any opinions from someone who has had to deal with issues again and again, please feel free to contact me BEFORE you make a decision you will regret.

Over a year ago last July, my mom signed a 3 month contract to move to Arkanshire, then decided not to move in. She paid for the first two months per the contract, then Norm the director said that the 3rd month would be taken out of her community fee that she paid up front. He stated that the remaining amount would be refunded to her, about a $1,000. After stopping by to speak with Norm and many phone calls to obtain the remaining amount, there has been no check sent for the remaining amount. Norm said that he would look into it and talk to the accountant, but nothing has happened. That has been our experience with Arkanshire.

This place was amazing when my grandmother was there 4 years ago, but I have heard that the place has suffered under new management.
