Brookstone Assisted Living Community

Mom and dad moved into Brookstone a couple years ago and we could not be happier with the care they have received. You are treated like family the moment you walk through the door. The entire staff has been nothing but outstanding to my parents. The food is great, the facility is extremely clean and there are plenty of opportunities and activities where they can meet other people and they can be as involved as they want to be. I love the grounds where the property is located. It's situated next to some woods where there is abundant wildlife. I've set up cameras where I've photographed deer as they've fed at night, hummingbird feeders on the porch and I've set up bird feeders outside pops room so he can watch the birds and squirrels. I shudder to think how many pounds of sunflower seeds I've gone though!! Mom was fighting the battle with Alzheimers and when her condition warranted it, she was moved into the Memory Ward where she was well taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookstone to anyone who are in need of a facility to place their loved ones.

I cannot speak highly enough of Brookstone Assisted Living! My 91 year-old mother has been at Brookstone for the past 5 months, & we have found it to be a truly stellar, excellent place for our senior loved one. They have more-than-fulfilled all of our needs & expectations, and more. What makes this Assisted Living facility the excellent place that it is are the incredible people who work there; you will seriously not find a more exceptional staff anywhere on the planet. The rooms are very nice; comfortable, roomy & each includes a kitchenette & bathroom. My mother was 1st in Assisted Living & has recently moved to the Memory Care area; both have a lot of advantages. The food here is amazing; not only have they been able to put some much-needed weight on my tiny mother, but I & several of our family members have greatly enjoyed dining here. They are more-than-accommodating to the more 'finicky' tastes of the senior population, while attending to their special nutritional needs. Dining is just an extremely pleasurable experience here - breakfast, lunch (called 'dinner') & dinner (called 'supper')! Both Assisted Living & Memory Care have a full complement of activities going on every single day, no matter if you are a highly-ambulatory senior who enjoys exercising & walking, or are a more sedentary person who enjoys seated activities. The 24/7 nursing & CNA staff here are all dedicated, compassionate people who have specialized understanding of older adults. The staffing here is designed to cover all needs, including transportation. Brookstone just keeps impressing me with their devotion & allegiance to all of their residents! A huge thumbs-up to this 'home away from home' for your loved one!

Very great place, smells nice and a beautiful interior.

My father and mother were transfered to Brookstone late last year. Since their transfer, my mother has passed. The entire staff was amazing during this time of trial. The care mentally and physically has been exceptional. The care in all aspects is superior from the individuals that assist with bathing, house cleaning, to the Administration. Food is excellent. Call light are always answered timely. If you want a forever home for ur loved ones, do not hesitate to walk in at anytime. They are the real deal.

Brookstone has provided care for Mother since August 2015. We transferred her from another facility. They have been more consistent with care than I have seen.There is no perfect, but if there were, this would be as close as it gets. My mother will always be my greatest gift. So knowing that she is getting the best is all I can ask for. I was employed for a couple working in this environment where I visited other like properties on a daily basis. Nothing to say negative, but I never wished she was in a different place.Brookstone has provided genuine care, have tailored to my mom's interests. Have kept her active and engaged in daily activities. Provided better than average services. This is a group of good and continuously interested people who I consider my extended family!
