Front desk staff was rude when asked a basic question on whether or not she had notes written down on people they were interested in interviewing. Instead of politely asking for me to call back on Monday to speak to a hiring manager she gave attitude and told me things I already know. I acknowledged that no one would be able to speak with me since it was after business hours and was hoping she would be kind enough to give me a direct line to call on Monday.

An awful place to work and always short staff and management is awful too. I used to work there Id never go back worse place to work and they treat staff bad

Having your loved one in a nursing home is difficult. The questions you may have: does the staff care, will they take care of them etc. My family member stayed here and the care is phenomenal. The CNAs are the best. They dont need to be told what to do, they just do it, they care very much. Keeping residents clean, making sure they eat and they inform nurses of any change in residents condition. Nurses are great too. if staff needed help DON and ADON would assist with resident care any time needed. I worked there and its the best place for your loved one. The top priority is the resident. You can rest knowing that your loved one is being taken care of.

Mother In Law was released from Barrows in need of a skilled nursing facility and extensive Physical/Occupational/Speech therapy. We first tried a place near her assisted living facility, but the care there was not good and she ended up back at Barrows. Upon her re-release, we placed her here at LifeStream and could not be happier with the care she is being given. The staff truly cares about each patient and treats them like their own family, but still manage to coax and cajole them into performing their therapy to help them improve. I can call or visit 24/7 with no notice and always find a clean, quiet facility and well-tended patients. Everyone from the receptionist to the admin staff to the medical staff has always been available to answer my questions - and if I leave a message, they DO call me back.My mother is in another LifeStream facility and also receives exceptional care. That greatly influenced our decision to place Mother In Law here.
