I just moved my mother-in-law here from a group home in Phoenix. She immediately felt at home due to the friendliness of the other guests and Anita. What drew me to this home were the reviews of the wonderful meals. There are not too many things that my mother can enjoy at this point in her life and this has made her very happy. There is a lot of conversation between Anita and the guests and very little TV watching. Please dont let the smallness of the place deter you. Everything is extremely clean and she is committed to the best care she can give your loved one.

I have been fortunate to be able to live here for many reasons. The location and atmosphere is nice and quiet. Anita Brooks is one of the nicest persons I have met and she is excellent at her job. She has helped me make a difficult adjustment from independent living and hospitalization for a head injury and brain damage. She has encouraged me when I expressed my anger and frustration without ever getting angry or frustrated at me. She is always positive. All-in-all, she has made me part of a family at that was the key to my acceptance of my life change. The care she provides for the 4 of us living here is first-rate. She knows how to do so many different things related to our cleanliness, comfort and safety so that I never have to worry about anything. That includes feeding us healthy and tasty meals. She provides a structured daily schedule. Any family would find this to be a worthwhile placement for a loved one. I'm happy to be here.

I'm a hospice nurse and have been to many different assisted living facilities. The best ones are from people's homes vs large multi million dollar facilities. Before making a commitment to any places ask these simple questions. What's the ratio of caregiver to residents, are the prices all inclusive or ala care, and how did score with state inspections. The owner of American Heritage is an outstanding place for the elderly. The owner is also the caregiver and currently cares for 4 resident. I asked her why not hire people, she simply stated she hasn't found the right person to help care for her residents. Her prices are fair and all inclusive. She had a perfect score from state I spections Her home is meticulously clean and never a foul odor. All her meals are home made and nutritionally balanced. She genuinely cares and loves what she does. I'm am very please with her care of patient and would not hesitate to bring any of my love ones to her home.

American Heritage senior living home is run by Anita Brooks in Prescott, Arizona. She is the most compassionate caretaker you could wish for. Our father received very good care in this home! The caregiver, Anita, was extremely flexible, supportive and understanding with meeting the needs of our father and adapting to his likes and dislikes. She personalizes the care for each individual and goes the extra mile to please the residents. The food is home-cooked and the home always smells delicious! The residence is clean and pleasant. We appreciated how Anita kept the family informed of how our father was doing as we all live out-of-town.Our father had been a resident at other care homes and American Heritage Senior Living truly ranks high on our list. Anita looked after the care of my father for almost two years in her special home. Anita was always compassionate, caring and extremely dependable. Anita took time and care to prepare home cooked meals tailored to the likes of my father and the other residents. Anita has a unique ability to her approach to providing care adapting as needed to the situation at hand. Her group home is extremely clean, safe and comfortable. In addition, there is a nice patio space that allowed my dad to spend time outdoors enjoying the seasons. Anita's ability to adapt and provide the appropriate level of care and compassion was key to her home's harmonious atmosphere. If I were to sum up my experience, Anita by nature is a very loving, compassionate and genuinely good person. She led with that love and compassion each day in looking after my father. Anita is the angel on earth I needed when looking for the special place to care for my dad.
