Edenz Assisted Living Home

I first met Chris when he was a caregiver assigned to help our dad who was suffering from Alzheimers disease. Chris would come to the house on scheduled days of the week to assist with personal cares such as showering, dressing, skin care, foot care, etc. when Dad no longer would/could manage these tasks on his own. As Alzheimers progresses, the time Chris would come took on an ever-challenging, ever- evolving character, whether it be to sit and wait for our Dad to cooperate with showering, to spending the entire time talking down the terrors and hallucinations Alzheimers disease wreaked on our Dads mind and reality. Chris did it all with such compassion and respect, it brought us to tears of thankfulness that we were sent such a person of dignity and character in our desperate time of need. As a retired nurse, I related to Andi on our first meeting right away. She is confident, extremely smart and dedicated to her clients and her job to the nth degree. Public health nursing puts you in such a variety of situations, caring for clients in quite challenging environments, but Andi does it all with superior intelligence and compassion. Your loved one could not be in better hands under the supervision and care of Chris and Andi.And now I feel compelled to add to the review I posted previously since the home has now opened for business. Your search has ended for the perfect home to place your loved one in; you have found a warm, caring and compassionate couple who will take exceptionally excellent care of him/her in a safe and beautifully adapted home which meets all their needs. I would not hesitate for a second to place our parent here, secure in the knowledge that he is safe, warm and cared for. Thank you, Chris and Andi.

In researching several homes for my loved one I couldn't help but notice just the loving atmosphere in this home. We are not quite ready yet but this is going to be the place that I hope is available when we are in need!

Chris came to our home to assist my 94 year old father suffering from Alzheimers disease with bathing and hygiene. He is our angel as my father could be combative and I was unable to get him to shower where Chris was. Additionally, Chris developed a loving relationship with dad and could 'talk him off the ledge' when his Alzheimer's got the better of him. Our plan was to move dad into Chris and Andi's residential Assisted Living Home but unfortunately, dad passed away too soon. I disagree with the review posted that this home is unwanted in a residential neighborhood. It is not only wanted but needed and necessary in our highly elderly populated town. I have looked at many Assisted Living facilities and I refused to 'warehouse' my father in those huge resort type facilities. Edenz is a warm and loving single family home that allows our family member that we can no longer take care of, only because we don't have the skills needed, to live out the last days of their life in a kind, dignified, secure and loving manner. To the gentleman that posted the one star, I would think you would be thankful to have a quiet and decent neighbor living next to you. You are actually very lucky.

Great people! Great family! Love the home atmosphere and the care is exceptional! I can only pray, if my loved one is in need of assistance one day, that there would be availability. Oh, and driveway parking is always convenient at Edenz!

Chris & Andi Remy are warm & loving people. My husband & I met Chris when he was a Certified Nursing Assistant at a rehabilitation facility. At that time he cared for my husband who was recovering from a stroke. After my husband left the facility, Chris continued to help care for him at our home. The two developed a bond which has resulted in a lifelong friendship. Chris & his wife Andi have achieved their personal goal which was to own & manage an Assisted Living Home. We are so proud & happy for them. Chriss wife Andi is a skilled & caring Registered Nurse. Both Chris & Andi are well-qualified, professional & kind individuals. My husband said if he had loved ones that needed care, he would send them only to Edenz where Chris & Andi could manage their care.
