Our House provides very good care to its residents. Their manager Jenny works diligently to see there is staffing to cover the needs of the people there while facing the challenges most businesses have right now with turnover of people. The atmosphere is warm with its decor and a quiet environment for those living there. I am grateful they focus on cleanliness! In some facilities, that is not the case; where odors hit you upon arrival. They seem to have a variety of foods they serve, along with desserts that my mom enjoys with her sweet tooth. Hoping to see more residents in the future come that would like to socialize while being in a safe place amongst their peers!

Our House Senior Living just feels like home. Seeing the smiles on the residents faces while playing games or chatting with each other makes you smile. I enjoy coming to work everyday because the residents are like my other set of grandparents. The staff at Our House Senior Living truly cares for each resident.

If youre looking for a senior living or assisted-living facility in the Wausa area, I recommend that you look elsewhere. This place is understaffed and overbooked. Its owned and managed by a large conglomerate out of Indianapolis so good luck communicating with anyone about your bill. The opening that they said was available for my mother when she was discharged from her nursing facility was not available and they placed her in their Memory Care facility. She does not have Alzheimers or dementia which meant that she was constantly ignored while they paid attention to people that did have dementia issues. I could not get her out of there fast enough. My suggestion would be for you to try Cedar Creek Manor in Kronenwetter. Cedar Creek Manor is locally owned and provides quality care to its residents.
