My 90 year old mother chose Island Shores because she had toured physicality prior to her need transitioning from rehab to independent living. Island Shores fell far short of any care that a transitional placement should provide. After a little over a month of substandard care as a family we moved her back to her home and she has accseded all of our exscpections. She is off of numerious meds she didn't need to be on, she moves around and can take of herself with little or no assistance. Island Shores was always understaffed and medical prodical wasn't followed. Shame on you!

The staff here was very helpful and helping me unload a resident that I picked up from the ER while driving a taxi cab service. I've been to many Assisted Living places and that's generally not the case. Does a taxi cab service we are just there to give people rides from point A to point B. But we always help out Theda care Regional Hospital emergency room with getting patients back to their residence.

They really take care of our parents well! They have CHOICES for meals. Great staff too! Polite & responsive.
