As a caregiver I was absolutely disgusted at the condition the entire facility was in & where the residents where living. Looked like it hasnt been cleaned in 30 years ( I did look everywhere just in case some parts where better then others sadly it was all bad. Especially the upstairs 2nd floor) & the walls looked like they were crumbling. First time there & it was horrible they had bed bugs after trying to get rid of them. Other workers said there was even residents still in their rooms when they were bombing the place for the bed bugs!! How awful!! Reported to state as well. I wouldn't even send my enemies there. Please dont send or keep loved ones there. Completely breaks my heart.

Prior to May2018, Birch Creek was working under Assisted Living by Hillcrest Management Team. Since that time Meridian Senior Living has taken over the management piece of this building, and there has been an amazing; positive change according to resident and employee surveys. Our founder, Harry Macco had a Meridian mind when he desired a CBRF to be a place for a social, caring, and safe place for our aging population.
