I have a friend that lives in New Perspective Senior Living, and it's such a beautiful place.I've attended a some events at New Perspective, and I had a wonderful time. They're events are the absolute best. They have many different living models to meet every senior citizen's needs, and they're all beautiful. If you or someone that you know are looking for senior living, I'd suggest taking a tour.

On our first visit to the New Perspective memory care unit in Brown Deer we were immediately impressed by the well-kept facilities, but even more by the number of happy faces of residents, staff, and visitors. We decided to place my wife of 60+ years in their memory care unit about a month ago. While there, she has maintained a good humor and positive attitude for life, and the staff supports this quite well. I feel much at ease with the Medical support available there, and am confident that she is being frequently monitored day and night. Her condition is being recorded, so I can be informed of her health and happiness whenever I ask. With her at this place, I sleep much better than in recent times. The fine Executive, Concierge, and sales staff work well to keep me aware and informed. Thank you all.

I would not recommend New Perspective Senior Living if your senior is not able to communicate effectively. The level of unprofessionalism is far below what I would expect from a recently opened facility. When we visited the Open House, we were excited and felt as though, this is the place to be, we were thrilled!!! The location was perfect, the facility was beautiful, and the tour was quite impressive. Although the cost was expensive, we felt comfortable and trusted the staff to treat the senior residents with dignity and respect. Each time, since the Open House I have been met with disappointment, heart-break and shock. The lack of care and attention given to the precious, vulnerable residents is overwhelming. Yes, there are workers that are serious about their job and do their best to care for the sometime resistant seniors, but the disappointing visits outweigh the good. Each visit has been met with questions: are there cameras in the open areas, is anyone supervising the workers, does anyone supervise the 2nd and 3rd shift workers, were the employees trained in sensitivity/compassion for the elderly and what is the turnover ratio? Upon each visit, I have witnessed something disturbing. During one visit, I witnessed a worker slamming a wheelchair-bound womans foot on the foot lever. During that same visit, my family members room smelled like strong urine and a worker was on her phone, not interacting or sitting among the residents. Also, the after hour security needs to be re-examined. I did not have time to voice a complaint as I had another appointment.
