Hawthorne Court

Just got a call tonight from my mother-in-law, a resident at Hawthorne. She said the chef quit and went back to the senior center where she used to live and the food has since gone downhill. Not sure what else she's unhappy with as she wouldn't tell us on the phone but we'll stop by tomorrow and see for ourselves. My experience with four such businesses in the Tri-Cities area suggests she's going through what she's gone through elsewhere and what elderly friends and other relatives have gone through in that metro area too - corporate fiddling with budgets that negatively affects already low-paid staff's work satisfaction and therefore resident satisfaction. I also can't help noticing how many 'so happy to work here' comments there are dating from the last few months. Suspicious. Especially since the population demographic of people who live in these places skews toward those who are not computer literate. Meaning the people in the best position to report on what it's like to live there don't post online for others to see.

Not professional , don't treat residents or their employees right . They honestly DO NOT CARE WHAT SO EVER!
