Residents often have to wait for DAYS to receive prescriptions INCLUDING ANTIBIOTICS if there isnt staff on site to enter the Rx into the computer. This puts the sick person and those they come in contact with at risk!

Today, my daughter my husband and myself were having lunch at Red Robin and were sitting next to the table that several elderly and what appeared to be their caretaker and assistant. At first we talked amongst ourselves about how nice it was that these sweet people take their elderly to lunch. Not long after, we observed Diane L (Caretaker) Being not so sweet! All the elders were looking at menus, with smiles, when She yells down the table, you guys can put the menus down, I already ordered unless you just want to sit there and look at them. We watched the faces of all these people go from smiles to sadness. Another little lady went over to say something to Diane And she dismissed her telling her to go back and sit down. Eventually when the food came that they werent able to order themselves, we noticed one lady really struggling to eat the burger she received. Maybe it isnt policy to cut the burger up for these sweet people, but it would have been human decency. Once the assistant noticed we were watching in disgust, she kept sideways, as though she knew we were going to report this. Diane either didnt notice, or didnt care because we were able to see her whole tag. These women were not kind, nor caring the entire time we watched. This saddened us, those are someones loved ones, they deserve to keep their dignity, and you Diane completely stripped that from them by treating them as though they were only an excuse to go eat your salad and burger that YOU got to choose yourself. The way you and your assistant talk to them is belittling and did not go unnoticed. By reading many of the other reviews, it looks to me like you sure put on a show for some, but what we witnessed today is disgusting and you should be ashamed. Im sure you would not put your mother in a place like this knowing what you get away with!

Horrible place to put your loved ones! The supervisor Shanelle only cares about money! A patient had fallen and the staff called for an ambulance but Shanelle cancelled it and a week later the person died as a result of the fall. As a friend of this family I am sad for their loss. I hope they get justice. She also treats her staff as they are disposable people and doesn't value their input when it comes to the wellbeing of the residents.

Brookdale has worked with me to make sure my loved one gets the care that she needs. The Health and Wellness Director has been very involved and always proactive in finding solutions to a range of health and behavioral issues that arise with dementia. The H&WD always has a solution for us for anything that has come up. She keeps the health and happiness of residents as her priority. Shes great with the residents and the family. She keeps me informed. I trust that my loved one is in good hands. Brookdale also has some really caring RAs here. They do a difficult job with love and kindness. Even the kitchen staff serves residents with smiles and care. The ED has solved what could have been a huge issue. I dont know how Id get through this journey without the help that Ive received here at Brookdale.

Wonderful caring staff form the housekeepers, care givers, Med staff, nurses and ED this place is welcoming and made my mom feel like this was home. So grateful for their care and compassion.
