Our family had to make the difficult decision to move mom to assisted living. Gary, the Executive Director, has, from day 1, treated my mom like his own family. From the way they listen and hear families and residents, to the activities that keep residents excited (my mom loves poker night), to the extra special care that is given to my mom daily, we couldnt be more pleased! And the BEST thing of all is that my mom is able to live as independently as she can with the support she needs to do so... and is HAPPY. I am also incredibly thankful for the work the staff has done to keep the residents safe during Covid-19. Exceptional leadership and exceptional staff!!!!!!

Some people say they could not downsize and move into a senior community. Yes you can. We downsized from a four bedroom home that we lived in for fifty years in two weeks. Three people helped us and our home sold in three days for an all cash offer.Let me tell you how great it is living at Brookdale Arbor Place. Our two bedroom apartment is on the third floor with a never tiring view. Every thing is furnished but the telephone, including hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Once a week they clean the apartment and wash our clothes.ENTERTAINMENTSeveral things are scheduled every day such as exercise, crafts, women's club, mens club meetings. An Elvis impersonator came and I tell you Elvis was in the house, he is great. The Boeing Orchestra comes at Christmas and their concert is the best. Brookdale will take us any place a group wants to go such as out to dinner, concerts, and museums. CARINGOne morning we could not go to the dinning room for breakfast so we asked a caregiver to bring us some cereal. She brought us the full breakfast instead and was back in a half hour with more coffee.Last year I had a hernia operation and upon returning to Brookdale the nurse came in to check my bandage and she was back every day for three days to check on me and remove the bandage. We did not ask or pay extra for this service, it just happens at Brookdale. We have an outstanding team of caregivers who are trained when needed to see that pills and shots are taken on time, bodies are clean, help with dressing, and push our wheel chair.FOOD There is a chef and three cooks who prepare excellent meals. The chef holds a meeting about every ten days to talk to the residence about what he is planing and what they would like. It is hard to pleaseeveryone but I enjoy the meals. We have barques on the patio several times a year.I am my wife's caregiver and we have lived at Brookdale Arbor Place for two and one half years and this is much better than putting her in a nursing home. We are happy here.

We searched long and hard for the perfect place for Dan when he needed to move to an assisted living facility. Brookdale Arbor Place was hands down the best option for him. The staff is exceptional, nurse to resident ratio the best, food fabulous, and activities perfect for all levels of needs. The atmosphere is energetic and alive! I feared in moving Dad to an assisted living facility thinking he would go dragging his feet. To the contrary, he loves it so much there and never wants to leave! The care everyone receives there is SECOND TO NONE!!!! I promise you can't go wrong with Brookdale Arbor Place - in fact, it will set your mind at ease knowing your loved one is well taken care of.
