Our father spent six weeks at North Cascades. From beginning to end, we were all impressed with the level of care he received, ranging from the cleaning staff to the nurses to the incredible therapists. The facility was clean and appropriately staffed, our dad's care plan was implemented as written, and dad received daily therapies. What impressed us the most was the genuine caring and compassion that all of the staff showed toward our dad - they knew him as an individual and took the time to listen to his wants and needs. They also took the time to listen to all of us. If we need North Cascades again, we would not hesitate to return there.

My mom was here for just one day, and had a horrible experience with the staff and level of care and service here over night and the next morning. She was in an extreme amount of pain through the night. She was spasming because it hurts so bad, and yet no one came to assist her. They had her sitting up in a wheelchair to eat breakfast but had not changed her depends from the night before. She was soaked completely through. They didn't bring her pain medication that she needs on a regular basis. She reported that small children were coming in her room to answer her call light in the night. They seem very slow to respond to her calls.I'm not pleased or impressed with this place--very poor service!
