I moved to Carter Woods at the begining of the year, and I couldn't be happier. The staff here, Angela and Rebecca, are friendly and professional. The maintenance staff is prompt and friendly. The Entire Carter Woods community has accepted me and my family (Lyam) with open arms. If your looking for a friendly, professional, senior community I highly recommend Carter Woods.

The Staff at Carter Woods are phenomenal, caring and true professionals. My mother was a resident at Carter Woods until she past away, the staff members (particularly, Ms. Bobbie Fields) provided amazing support to my entire family. My family and I live do not live in the VA area, nevertheless Ms. Fields kept in contact with family members and provided information that allowed an easy transition from the complex. She suggested storage facilities, dump sites and many other much needed elements that assisted in keeping Carter Woods Facility in tact and removing my Mom and her belongings in a respectfully manner. My family and I would again, like to sincerely thank Ms. Fields and the entire staff for true professionalism.

Apts are decent and modern, but the management is shady and will rip you off every chance they get. Property manager Bobbie is a real slimy piece of work, she is rude and has zero people skills. The tenants are rude, nosey, and just plain annoying. Not to mention the begbugs which management are aware of but refuse admit exist, yet the exterminator visits 4 to 5 times a month. This is a place where most people live on a fixed income yet most of the services offered such as the laundry room and cable are at the highest prices imagined. Then there's the super who is a complete moron and pretty much fixes everything with Elmer's glue and duct tape. Surprise two weeks later it broken again. Avoid this place at all cost. These people are crooks, they're taking advantage of the elderly and need to be stopped.
