Brookdale Tyler South

I have no reservations about my loved one living here. I know they are getting the best care available.

I have been so happy with the ways the staff care for, and enrich my father's life. Once he was no longer able to live without 24 hour care, the options in care, and process of finding the right place seemed overwhelming to me. But from the first contact with the staff of Brookdale Tyler South, they went above and beyond to explain their approach to caring for persons with memory problems, and why it works to help calm the frustration of my loved one. I've always felt comfortable and welcome to visit, and participate in activities with my Dad. He's never even asked for a tv in his room because he's too busy to just sit in his room. He is encouraged to be as independent as possible, to foster his self esteem and sense of well being. He has adapted well to the routine and flow of the facility, and his level of anxiety and frustration has diminished significantly compared to when he was trying to live on his own. I consider the staff at Brookdale to be part of my extended family. I can lay my head down at night knowing he is well cared for, and that they will call me should the need arise. One of his friends visited him recently, and she called me to tell me that she hopes her family will find her a place like Brookdale when the time comes. She was so happy to see that the staff doted on Dad, and really cared about him. Coming from one of his peers, it made me so happy that she saw what I saw there. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for doing all you do!

Very clean facility and nursing staff is very responsive and seems to enjoy what they do. This is a pretty and convenient, in town location.
