If you have a loved one who lives in the Pines...beware...The caregiver 'Jessica' will lie to you...she will stonewall...She immediately made a call to admin and the POA after I visited my mother. Jessica is a liar and trouble maker.Good luck with this facility if you make the unwise choice to place your loved one here.

Heritage Park is a fairly nice assisted living facility. My only complaint is that their food is not very nutritional. Although, they have improved it, compared to a year or two ago. Occasionally, they serve a decent meal, but that is few & hard between. They serve a lot of casserole dishes in which the meat is scarce. For instance in a chicken casserole you might find 3 tiny pieces of chicken!!!! I think that is pitiful! They seldom serve dark green salads & good healthy vegetables. They scrimp on the food there. For instance if they serve fried chicken, you might get a wing & a leg, if you are lucky! Based the cost of the rent, you would think the food would be better quality! My concern is that the elderly people that live there & eat their low quality food; that their health is compromised.
