Courtyards at River Park Senior Living

I came to work here as the Health Services Director 2 months ago. This community has SO many WONDERFUL things about it, but the top of that list is that the employees really care about the residents. I am impressed by them daily.

My wife and I moved here in June 2019. We are more impressed now that we have got settled in. The staff works very hard to meet your needs. The food is excellent. The best part of living here is the residents, all are very friendly and very easy to get aquanted with. We are so happy to be living here, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I would encourage anyone considering Courtyard at Riverpark to do some research. My family was very disappointed with the management. Please be aware that food service is below par. Food not of high quality. In addition the med techs and other staff actually serve dinners. There is no dedicated kitchen and service staff in some buildings. Alert pendants in some buildings do not work correctly. On numerous occasions our family member did not receive response when pushing alert pendant button. This seems to be a system problem. There is also a major problem with staff training and management. Our family experienced what can only be described as aggressive and unprofessional behavior from one of the management staff. It was reported to corporate offices. These are only a few of the reasons to consider carefully where you or your loved ones choose to live.

This facility is very unorganized and do not care about their employees nor their residents. It truly is all about the almighty dollar. There are residents that technically should be in the nursing home. They have bed bugs and a problematic ant problem. All management does is party, vacation and take time off for plastic surgery. The surgery didnt help by the way, her butt looks just as flat as before and her face is even worse. They expect you to be a part of their click and if you dont, they make your work experience awful. They dont know how to speak to people professionally and are only there for a check. They gossip to other staff members who are not even management about any staff issues.The executive director has his head up his rear end and has no idea what is going on from day to day. The only time he is involved is if its about money or firing somebody. I wouldnt put my worst enemy in this facility. All day ambulances are coming because people are falling or dying. This is not really assistant living but more like a nursing home. There is no room for advancement and they pay is horrible for all that they want you to do. The equipment is horrible and doesnt work as it should. The food is the same. They serve the same food for dinner that they had for lunch. They had a cheap Christmas party and were drunk disrespectful to each other. They completely lie about EVERYTHING and management talks badly about the residents. Runnnnn!!!
