BrightStar Care Happy Valley

My 95-year-old father was in 14-day Covid-19 quarantine in my home following a traumatic brain injury before he could be admitted to the rehab hospital.Due to confusion and an inability to walk independently, he required 24-hour monitoring. Brightstar of Happy Valley (State College, PA ) was able to provide overnight coverage the same day we requested it. The home health aides they provided were prompt, courteous, clean, friendly, and well-versed in antibacterial/Covid-19 precautions. They went above and beyond just monitoring my father, assisting him with bathing, dressing, toileting, and comforting.An additional service that this agency provided was that they wouldn't send a new aide to our home before the agency owner himself (kudos to Jason Lieb!) came to our door with the new aide to introduce him to us, so that we would know the person ringing our doorbell 11 o'clock at night! I had never heard of such a service, and it wasgreatly appreciated. The reasonable rates were a pleasant surprise as well! I would recommend this agency without hesitation to anyone in need of home health services. My father will be 96 this coming Saturday, now happily settled in assisted living, and I absolutely attribute his speedy recovery to the good care he received. We have been using Brightstar for over a year now. My husband requires full assistance. The caregivers have been very kind and instanding of his needs. I feel very comfortable leaving him in there care when I go to work. If I have any questions or concerns they are addressed in a timely manner.

Their caregivers are wonderful and I never worry about the care my mother is getting. They are easy to work with and try to help with just a days notice of schedule change.
