My mother was here for 2.5 weeks. The physical environment is clean and spacious, the atmosphere is fresh and happy. There are no unattended seniors hanging off the side of their wheelchairs, which had been my experience. The residents seem happy and the staff friendly. This is the place I wouldnt mind retiring to, there are activities, a gift shop, Starbucks coffee and an easy to schedule with hair stylist.During my moms stay she had to be transported to the ER. The medical staff was responsive, proactive and kept me informed all the way. They were excellent!!!! I am giving a 4 out of 5 because upon mom's return from the hospital, she was moved to another room and no one on the floor where she was notified us of the change. And no one on the new floor had any knowledge of where her personal belongings were or who to call to find out...She seemed to have received better care on the original unit then the one she was moved to because the nursing staff on the original unit were more attentive and friendly. The social worker helped us the next day and seemed to be knowledgeable as to who to talk to and where to look.
