Brandywine seems to have really declined since we placed my Father-In-Law here. Today we found him sleeping in the dining room in his wheel chair in between two tables. We found him a spot to eat and noticed a huge glob of oatmeal on his lap that had been there since breakfast. After lunch we got him to his room and pushed his alert button to get some help changing his pants. We pushed the button at 1:14 PM. The aid showed up at 2:01, but she was not responding to the call button. The aid pushed my Father-In-Law's emergency call button repeatedly and it did register on her pager. We do not know for how long his button did not work. They used to check in on the residents every two hours and push the emergency call button, but they don't seem to do that anymore. So, they no longer know if if the emergency alert buttons work.If you put your loved ones here, be certain that you can visit very often and watch very carefully what is happening with them.

I'm go grateful for entire staff at Brandywine in East Norrition! My mother has been there for over 2 years now and they do an incredible job taking care all the residents. It's such a beautiful, quiet and calm place. They have local trips, activities everyday and a large porch and garden area too. All of the staff are highly trained and so pleasant - and they mean it! Very nice people!! So happy she is there and I don't have to worry about her!

My mother moved into Brandywine Living in East Norriton two months ago. It is never an easy decision for a family, but for us it was a tad harder because my mom doesn't speak English. I had visited about a half-dozen of senior living facilities, and I always left them with an unease feeling. However, after being at Brandywine, an especially after talking with Carol Frawley, all the concerns were lifted from my shoulders. Since day one, Carol, Jessica Gonzales and Brandywine were eager to work with us, and to accommodate my mother's special situation. To say that they have gone above and beyond would be an understatement--they bought Ipads that would help translating, they got bilingual medical charts and the head cook has brought in special Hispanic meals. The activity director, Galina Novosartova, is super sweet and makes sure that my mom is as involved as possible. As for my mom, she is HAPPY and is getting much more social stimulation than she have had in the past years! It's only being a couple of months, but we are looking forward to continue this partnership!!!
