From past experience of being an employee... the nurse here is very nice and knows what shes doing! But the management sucks employees+managers would talk about the residents back to other residents, very unprofessional and we had meeting everymorning that would honestly break hippa law ! We shouldnt be talking about there medical issues inform the residents nor to family visiting should be in private room away from the residents. Theres more drama and criticism than anything else. Manager misty is very unqualified for her job makes more mistakes than any other managers and a MANAGER DOES NOT FIRE SOMEONE BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE THEM OR FEEL INTIMIDATED!

Last year I worked here for about a month before I quit. One of the reasons I left was because I wasnt properly trained and half of the time I had no clue what I was doing, so I felt like it was just the right thing to do for the safety of the elderly folks living here. Another reason I left though is because the other staff members were horrible. I was on my lunch one day downstairs in the living area, while my coworker was supposed to be upstairs watching everybody.. well... she left without telling me (Im assuming she left through the emergency exit) since I didnt see her walk out the main door, and one of the residents comes down stairs to tell me that a resident (whos a fall risk) was outside of the emergency exit by a tall flight of stairs. I was so mortified knowing that my coworker would leave all of the residents (even those in the late stages of Alzheimer's that needed one-on-one care.) alone by themselves without at least notifying me. That horrible lady put lives in danger and to this day I am so disgusted. And that was just one story. This place was so emotionally draining that I would just cry from stress every time I got home from work.horrible place to work and also a horrible place to put your loved ones!

Please do your due diligence when looking for a place to put your loved one. The care standards at this facility are terrible. Visit during off hours; early morning or later evening. I have cared for the elderly for 20 years and this place is one of the worst I have ever worked for. I found residnets completely wet in bed from shoulders down to their knees, residents being double briefed so that they don't have to change them frequently. The concerns of proper care were reported to my supervisor, on almost a daily basis; instead of improving on the quality of care, they terminated me stating 'it's just not a good fit'. I asked for more specific and was told again, it just wasn't a tight fit. I honestly believe they were tired of my concerns about the poor care given to these residents.
