I dont have any family in this facility but was toured around the assisted living facility for a college assignment. Melody was very kind, polite and informative. Especially to set time aside for a college student, I really appreciate that. The facility is very nice and each apartment she showed me was better than my first apartment and subsequent rooms Ive shared since. There was a surprising feel of independence for an assisted living facility. You definitely get what you pay for. If I have any family that need assisted living in the future this place will definitely be on the list of prospects.

DO NOT move here if you have diabetes . They accepted my mother a year ago and on September 9th they sent her to the hospital with a high blood sugar. she paid her rent on September 1st $6,400 she was sent to ER on Sept 9th to go to the hospital and Homewood heights said they could not take her back due to her level of care being to much for them to handle on the weekends. my mother was physically only there for nine days in September and her refund after paying her rent September 1st of $6,400 her refund was only $850. how am I supposed to move my mom into a new place on $850 ridiculous!

My 92 year old mother moved into Homewood Heights July 6th. She had lived in her private home for over 67 years and alone for the last 11 years. This was a huge change for her. But Melody, Nancy, Sharon and the entire staff, kitchen, care givers and maintenance have been wonderful in making her feel welcome and cared for. She has met many of the other residents who are fun and seem anxious to get to know her. My mother has an eating difficulty and Ricio, the head chef, has wonderfully accommodated this and she is now eating more and gaining back her strength. Thank you all HOMEWOOD HEIGHTS.

I have worked in the retirement/assisted living industry for 30 years. This is by far the most stable and well run building I have ever witnessed. There is staff who have been there 15, 16 and even 18 years. The cooks have been there a combined 20 plus years. Homewood Heighs is small, well run and amazingly quiet and calm. If you are looking for assisted living for yourself or a loved one - don't overlook this best kept secret of Milwaukie, Oregon.

Jennifer and her staff are amazingly accommodating. They truly go out of their way to make each resident feel at home, and to meet their care needs with quality, consideration, and communication. It is always a pleasure to work with Homewood Heights.
