I only rate this one star because I cannot Rate it 0 Stars. For all family members that have one of their beloved ones there and think this is a good place, let me assure you ... it is not. I have worked there. For those of you who have family there, hopefully have you noticed the overturn of staff for no unknown reason. I was favored by a lot of the residents there and was let go. I have spoken to several other people who have worked there and the same thing has happened to them. As one looks into this ... they will see, that they are constantly hiring, why should one think that is? Not because they're a terrible employee... they could be an over the top employee and still be fired for no unknown reason. I have a college education, and a clean background. However after a month they called me and told me not to return to work because something came up on my background and they would get back to me. Well it has been several several months since then and still no phone call telling me why I could not come back. So if you have a family member there that you love I strongly suggest that you move them to a different facility, because this is poor ran, by the management. They do not care about your loved one, they just want to receive your paycheck.

My Dad lived at Brookdale for over 2 1/2 years. It was top notch from the beginning. My Dad was diagnosed with end stage dementia a few weeks ago and the hospital recommended I put him in skilled nursing with hospice. I started to plan for that when I got a call from Christina at Brookdale. She told me that they loved my dad and wanted him to come home to do his end of life care with hospice help, in his own apartment. Christina, Cass and staff would hold his hand and comfort him for hours. My Dad passed away in his own apartment with dignity thanks to Broodale. I could never thank them enough.
