It was difficult and a long process to convince my parents to sell their home of over 50 years to move. For a few years BevLong had delivered a hot meal monthly and built a relationship with them. After my mom fell several times she was finally convinced they would be safer in an assisting living facility. They wanted to stay in the Wadsworth area. I looked at a few places and then presented them with the information. Liberty Residence 2 fit their budget better. In July of 2018 we moved them. The adjustment was harder for my mom than my dad. I had piece of mind knowing they were in a safe place where there was medical staff 24/7, they were getting a hot meal 3 times per day, and taking medicine as it was prescribed. Eventually I had to increase their levels of care to include personal care for both of them and transferring for my mom as she had Parkinsons Disease and was mostly in a wheelchair. The staff was always kind, helpful, and communicated well with me. I talked with Teresa the Director of Nursing frequently due to their ever changing health conditions. She was always very kind and was very sweet to listen to me vent or cry when it became a lot! Early in 2019 I had to move my dad to a memory care unit, which left my mom at Liberty alone. The staff was very supportive of her and encouraged her to participate in activities, which she did and enjoyed them! In the summer of 2019 we put my mom on hospice. Hospice of the Western Reserve and the staff at Liberty Residence worked together to give my mom a good quality of life. They started out in a one bedroom apartment on the second floor but when a studio came open on the first floor we moved her. My dad passed away in September 2019, the staff was AWESOME at supporting my mom. They paid extra attention to her while always communicating well with me how she was doing. The Friday after my dad passed she had a grand mal seizure, she became unresponsive and passed 3 weeks after my dad. During her last days the staff was phenomenal very supportive with hugs, talks, and just being present!! They always cared for mom as though she was family. She loved them and they loved her. I know she was challenging and gave them a run for their money most days, but they were always there when she needed them. Thank you to all the staff you will always hold a special place in my heart! Thank you for doing what you do daily!!

I visited and toured both Liberty Residence buildings today with a client, with their Director of Marketing and Admissions, Bev guiding our tour. The independent and assisted living options offered, as well as the ample listing of amenities, personal services, social activities and overly spacious homes are collectively a huge plus. Once my client has sold his home, he plans to move into building I, with future plans of transitioning into building II when the time comes. My client was most impressed with the clean presentation of the buildings, as well as the friendliness of the residents and the professionalism of the staff members. I will definitely refer additional clients to both buildings in the future, as I, too was very impressed with all that they have to offer. Bev was wonderful, a true asset to the organization.

If your looking for bed bug issues, a swimming pool with no water and an incompetent management staff this is the place for you.UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE: To accommodate you would have to care. You're management staff clearly knew about the bed bug issues and the broken down pool with no water. By the way which has been broken down for years but is still being used as a selling point on numerous websites. So for the response you have left I find EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE AND ABSURD!
