My mom went from owning her own home to Liberty 1. The staff went above and beyond to make her feel welcome. She made friends and participated in activities. They treated her like family. I would highly recommend them. Especially for the first steps into the world of elder care.

We would not recommend this business. The management has been extremely nasty to my parents and family. When we take concerns to them nothing gets handled. It has been obvious they cater to their residents whove been there for many years. On numerous occasions we have recorded the director getting verbally aggressive with my parents then turn around and lie about it. The kitchen staff has forced my mother out of the dining area before she was finished with her meal in an extremely rude manner. Since my parents have lived here their health has gone down hill. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for quality care for their elderly parents and my parents who deserve much better care than this will be leaving.

They say that their Main priority Is the clients happiness and safety is their main concern and that they have an open door policy. They do have an open door policy BUT beware they will retaliate against you if you use it especially after nothing is done to correct the problem and you have to go to them again. A majority of the residents are rude and mean. They monopolize hallways with their scooters and chairs...and dont tell them to move because management will do nothing. There is a resident that smokes in his room even though this is a non smoking facility. He was told he was allowed as long as it is in his bathroom and he has the vent fan going. As far as Im concerned that is a major safety violation as most of the residence are old and need some sort of assistance to move/walk. When it was brought to managements attention, they did nothing. When a phone call was made to the corporate office and a message was left no return call was made. Oh if you are eating your meal and the staff feels its time for you to be done (even though you are clearly still eating) they will say nasty things to you, clear your table and turn the lights off while you are sitting there chewing your food. There is a man that will sit almost the entire day by the door. He will give everyone that walks in a dirty look or tell other residents where they can and can not leave their walker or go. He makes anyone that comes in very uncomfortable and not wanted there. I have spoken with at least 10-15 different residents there and they all say the same thing. Their concerns are ignored and they are treated with the most disrespect. These are someones parents and grandparents who, by living there, dont even have their dignity left by how they are treated. I have also heard that by anyone leaving a less than desirable review online...its considered slander. Not sure how making people aware of truthful conditions is considered slanderous. To Karen at liberty- if you are so concerned with people bringing to the surface the short comings of this establishment, then maybe make it your job to actually listen to your residents, and deal with their concerns appropriately instead of allowing the wrong doings to continue. If you actually fix things and not just let people do as they please because you dont want to upset anyone...then maybe, just maybe....people would stay. To everyone else-Think twice about allowing your loved ones to reside there.

I visited and toured both Liberty Residence buildings today with a client, with their Director of Marketing and Admissions, Bev guiding our tour. The independent and assisted living options offered, as well as the ample listing of amenities, personal services, social activities and overly spacious homes are collectively a huge plus. Once my client has sold his home, he plans to move into building I, with future plans of transitioning into building II when the time comes. My client was most impressed with the clean presentation of the buildings, as well as the friendliness of the residents and the professionalism of the staff members. I will definitely refer additional clients to both buildings in the future, as I, too was very impressed with all that they have to offer. Bev was wonderful, a true asset to the organization.

We are in the process of moving my grandfather here from out of state. We have been extremely happy with the support and care given to us by the admissions personnel. We have only heard great things about Liberty Residence and are really looking forward to starting our family relationship with them. Bev has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, accommodate our needs and answer all our questions.
