Classic Lady
If they dont change the housekeeping supervisor people will be quitting always. That lady is crazy, (housekeeping supervisor) she says a thing now then she changes the version and then she blames the employee. Another thing is she like to put workers against each other so they can tell her everything and shes the one talking shi... about her workers to the other workers. I think she thinks they are her slave. That lady need to be though how to be a supervisor.

My grandmother was enrolled in bethesda about a year and a half ago and started off in the altimerz unit and was in a wheelchair for 3 weeks so the put her in the regular department and the staff are lazy and dont seem to care about them. The staff in altimizers were great not pleased now

My mother started 6 years ago on the locked Altimetzs ward where the staff took the best care of her needs at the time. A few years latter she was moved to the open ward where they have continued her care. The staff here are like family and communicate with me often. They are very sweet to my mother and love her like extended family. In the 6 years my mom has been here she has never been found soiled or left in a position I felt her safety or care has been comprised. She has been bed bound for the last 2.5 years and she has never had a skin breakdown. I have read the other comments that say negative things but I have never seen or experienced any negative things that are mentioned. This faculty might not look like much from the outside but the personal care and attention for my mother and communication with me on her care has spoke volumes. They have long term staff here some 20 years they don't have a high employee turnover and I never have a problem getting an answere when I visit. Please don't judge a book by its cover this place needs 10 starts. Last I sit here as my mother is rounding her final days sitting here in Bethesda and the love and support to show mom comfort has been a blessing to me. She will pass with family all around her and that's the way care should be in a facility!

I really didn't want to give this home a 1 star. I don't really know how they are with taking care of patients I actually had an Aunt that went there.. but I do know that they will tell you they have room for your loved one but then tell you that they don't take people from certain rehabs with no Explanations. If you don't live in the state or trying to just facilitate your love one to be put in a home that you thought would take care of them Of course maybe they will only if they aren't coming from Carolina rehab. I personally have left messages for the director to return my call to see why my loved one can't be accepted in their facility when I spoke to someone they stated it's nothing against your loved one.. so why will you not take them? I don't understand and this person is covered with insurance. If an explanation was given then I wouldn't be writing this post but I am very disappointed I guess I will move on to the next facility maybe I'm dodging a bullet
