I have been with LeRoy Manor for about a year now. I only knew one friend that works here. Our staff is great. We all work together. If you do your job and respect our staff and our residents it is very easy to stay employed. Our administration crew and management team are also great people to work for and with. It's a very easy going friendly environment. Unfortunately we do have people that start working here who whine, complain, and simply just don't care such as a recent employee who gave us a bad review. Everyone that works here loves their job.

It's like a cult there...I just quit after 3 weeks of employment... everyone is literally related in some way or another..it's literally like high school alllll over again...very petty and crazy..employees are very two faced and back stabbing any chance they get. I felt bad for the residents. But if your not related to any one there you don't stand a chance.....it's sad.....

I recently worked there. I'm giving the 1 rating because of the food, but other than that. They are very rude with the residents they are only have a certain amount of money in their pockets /wallets, so many snacks, if they came up to the one that controls the money 'banking' to get change for a 20.00 she takes it and gives you 2.00. Some don't even get that. Or if they do they have to have an aide take the money at a certain time of the day to go to the pop machine or vending, if they buy the soda they can only drink one, the others get put in the fridge in the office. But some can have boxes and boxes of snacks but others can't keep a draw full. Or if they tell on some one(resident) that person gets in trouble they take their privileges away some can't smoke in the smoke room, so they have to go outside. Some aides are good like the newer ones but the ones that have been there for awhile they make some of them cry. Treat them like dirt. It felt like it was school but worse. Some of the residents say it's jail but actually jail is probably better. Some are trying to get out bit not aloud to leave. One resident passed away it wasn't even a full day they had his stuff packed out in the hall and already having someone moving in. Some of the residents shouldn't be there. But it's not the residents fault. It's their way or the highway. Whatever benefits them. Like you can't do ur banking or make a phone on ur time but they can their policy says no one to leave building on breaks but they do. Also your supposed to read their minds. And they will change what you do when they want and then write u up for not doing it the way it was before. If you comfront them they alittle upset and say they don't have favorites, but do. Then you lose your job because you confronted them. I can keep going . Someone asked me about the place for her parents and I said no it's not a good place.
