Decatur Pines Senior Apartments

North Decatur Pines has no waiting list or process in place. You literally have to call every week and leave a voicemail in which nobody never return your call to provide a status. I have literally been calling seeking availability for 5 months and I physically been there twice just to get a response. It has to be a better process in place. I honestly believe they select who they want in the apartments.

THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK. FIRST THEY HAD A LIST, THEN GOT RID OF IT WITHOUT NOTICE. VERY UNORGANIZED.

No one ever returns e-mails or phone calls.

No one in the office ever returns your telephone calls and if you're lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone, they are the rudest, in personable people you would ever want to talk to, I could understand if I was mean, demanding and entitled but I wasn't. Told me that I was on the list, it was over a year, but would never tell me where I was on the list. The next time I called, again after several attempts I finally got someone again, apparently it was the same snobbish, didn't care attitude, what was I doing bothering her, woman, when I asked her once again where I was on the list, she told me, 'we don't have a list, it's first come, first serve!' I've been waiting for over a year waiting and waiting for a phone call, just to be told this! I don't know who to call or write to, to send in a complaint. Her name was Debbie, I remember because that is my name. She should be offered a class on working with the public and if that doesn't work she shouldn't be working with the people at all! I understand we all have our bad days, but hers seems to be everyday.

Karen Hobert 'property management of the south decatur pines apartment complex' is nothing but a thug. She is almost never in the office, she aimlessly roams the grounds claiming to be working for hours a time. The only concern she has for any of her residents is to collect money or evict. Her customer service is AWFUL, she is easily upset and has no problem slamming the phone to hang up on you. My advice, move ANYWHERE else, they claim this place is 'lovely' its painted orange and looks like little mexico. If i were her manager i would have a SERIOUS discussion with her about her abominable 'customer service' and lack of concern to do her job.
