My mother spent the last days of her long life at the Baisch Nursing Center. I chose this home because of it's size. I wanted a smaller facility for Mom. She was always treated very respectfully. The staff went WAY beyond what was required of them. They would stop in and chat with my Mom on a regular basis. They would fix food items for her just because she was hungry for a particular thing. One lady bought waffles for Mom, because Mom wanted waffles. There are fancier, more modern facilities out there, but I don't think you can beat the personal care your loved one will receive at Baisch. I am very grateful for the facility, and especially for the staff.

My family member is a resident at Baisch. I am overall pleased with the care. The Nursing staff are all kind and take good care of the residents. I have noticed lately, that the staff (all) seem more rushed and stressed and that is a sure sign of staff reduction. (Happy Staff = Happy Residents). I saw a sign outside the building that they are hiring so hopefully this will be rectified soon. I was concerned when new owners took over about a year ago. A few months later I saw less staff present than I would usually see on my visits. I understand that people get sick and call in. But back up measures should be taken. A few times my family member did not get a shower due to not enough staff.
