I visited my cousin last week. I have been to many nursing homes over the past 20 years and this home seemed about average. It did have some smells, but not terrible. The staff seemed over worked and burned out, but this was no more than the average amount you see in most nursing homes. The building was fairly new and it had good lighting and lots of windows which made it less depressing.

Nice friendly facility. My mother has been at several facilities and this one is very nice. It is clean. But the best thing is the staff treats my Mom like their own family. They are very professional. I am so thankful that my Mom is at Hillcrest.
