Crest View Senior Community at Blaine

My mother has been living at Crest View Senior Community at Blaine in the memory care unit for 4 months now and it has not been a good experience. I have called the memory care unit on 3 different occasions and left a voicemail message because I was concerned about my mother after speaking with her on the phone. I never received the common courtesy of having my messages returned. The second time I did not get a return call from the memory unit, I obtained the phone number for the administrator Julia (who oversees everyone at Crest View) to voice my complaint about not receiving a return call. Julia did apologize, reassured me and said all the right things as well as saying 'this does not meet the expectations I have set for the staff and I will talk with them about it'. Well this happened again recently, a month and a half after talking with Julia, so either the staff in the memory care unit are not taking her seriously or the duty of retrieving voice messages/returning calls has not been made clear among the nursing staff. There also was a problem with retrieving the mail and distributing it. The staff wasn't clear on which key was to be used for the mail until someone finally figured that out after a month. I know this is a fairly new facility, but there is no excuse for this simple task. Also, there were numerous billing errors that had to be frequently called about until they were finally corrected. There appears to be a lack of communication between the billing department and the staff whether to bill for a service or not. During my visits to my mother the nursing aides do pop their head in every hour like they are required to do and ask my mother how she is doing, but other than that I have not been impressed with anything at Crest View in the Memory Care unit. Because of the issues there have been at Crest View, we decided to move Mom to a different memory care facility. Also, the other 'Google rating' here for Crest View that merely says 'New Location' should not be given a 4 star rating if that is all they are going to say about the facility. 'New Location' has nothing to do with the quality of care, the nursing staff or treatment of their residents or family members.
