My loved one started here in independent living. Things were great at that time. As my loved one aged they needed to move to assisted living instead, same facility, different building, different staff. There has been alot of turnover since then including numerous administrators. CNA's are hard for them to keep. My loved ones care plan was updated constantly but never seemed to be shared with those actually taking care of my elderly parent. Wrong meds were given, meds were missed, dietary restrictions were missed consistently, rules were brought in that actually put my loved one at risk of falling!! Lots is promised but very little is followed thru or maintained. Unless administration changes here I do not recommend putting your loved one here, check around, we have moved now and the care we are experiencing is fabulous....

My mother lived the last 15 months of her life at Chestnut Fields. Due to Alzheimer's she had to move into assisted living. I live overseas and they kept me informed about what was going on with her. I felt like the staff genuinely cared about my mom, in fact they went above and beyond what I would have expected them to do for her. Also, I looked at other facilities in the area and I liked Chestnut Fields because the residents live in apartments with a separate bedroom. I wholeheartedly recommend Chestnut Fields.

Incompetent administrative staff. Unresponsive to requests from a 95-year--old prior resident.
