Everyone at Emerald Meadows went above and beyond to help my family place my mom. We needed immediate placement for my mother and Carrie went well above what is expected to help us. Even though my mom was not able to be placed Emerald Meadows Carrie made sure she was placed somewhere. (She had some behavioral issues that they could not accommodate) Carrie even went with us to another facility and held my moms hand along the way. Emerald Meadows has a very patience and caring staff. Everyone there was friendly and willing to do whatever we needed to help us. They were not just looking to fill a room. They wanted to make sure each individual is placed in the best facility for them. Emerald Meadows is also a beautiful place!

Emerald Meadows has been a wonderful place for my sister to live. The employees there are caring and make sure to address any concerns that I may have. I feel that administration and the nursing staff go over and beyond to please the residents and families. I am at a peace of mind knowing that my sister is being well taken care of.

My mom suffered a fall about 2 years ago. She was not found until late the next day. Her back was one large bruise and the fall set off delirium. She had been hiding the fact that due to depression because of the recent deaths of her two best friends, she had not been eating/drinking and had been dehydrated. She also had started to get pneumonia due to her weakened state. I was told later that she wasn't really expected to make it very long in this condition. She spent two weeks in hospital, another two weeks in physical therapy and 10 days in an adult foster home that said they could take care of her (they couldn't). Then we moved her to Emerald Meadows. When she arrive there, she could not walk or even transfer, she was on full-time oxygen & her mind was still out -of-sorts. Today, she walks with a walker (quite well too!), is only on oxygen at night & her memory, although not what it was before her ordeal, is much better than it was. We have been told that her progress is nothing short of a miracle! She is engaged in the activities at Emerald Meadows, attends the weekly Bible studies, crafts and musical shows. She is happy again and feels a sense of purpose she had lost when her friends had passed away two years ago. I don't have to worry about her getting depressed for long. Although I visit or call her every night, I feel confident that she is being well taken care of! It is a win-win situation for all of us!
