Crestmont Nursing Care Center

I arrived to check my grandmother in and there was no one there to greet or help us. I had to find her bed on my own. I had to go find someone to bring a wheelchair. I made notes about her diet but they were not followed. I had to return to my life out of state. I wasn't sure she was in the best place. It seemed clean but the staff seemed cold. I wish I had made a different choice. She died very quickly after being there.

Ive been a patient at Crestmont for over a month.In the month and will be here finishing my physical therapy learning to walk again. Since Ive been here Ive had a amazing staff from the Nurses and CNAs that work with me each day to the fantastic staff in physical therapy and occupational therapy. The dietery staff and food service is excellent and far better than the last 4 nursing home locations Ive been in for my MERSA. This is the very best location Ive been at in the 4 years Ive had MERSA in my blood. Before coming to Crestmont I was in another much larger facility that had huge problems and lots of abuse and thats why U of M refused to send me back to my old facility in Howell. Thank God Crestmont is a caring and attentive nursing facility. The administrator Teddy is doing a amazing job as well as her entire staff and my social worker to make my facility stay here as positive as it possibly can be. U of M Ann Arbor is my hospital of choice and if I ever need physical therapy and in house medical care facility again Crestmont Nursing Facility is where I will be coming back too if needed.Id rate Crestmont Nursing Facility in Fenton 100%. DONT COME HERE i was recently hired and rooms were disgusting and horrid smelling. There dinning room was atrocious and laundry hadn't been done or even sorted correctly which is a huge violation and could cause germs to spread but that wasn't the worst part, i sat in the break room and heard three CNA's bad mouth a resident and even said and I quote 'don't leave me alone in a room with her'. Not only did I hear that but I also watched several CNA's walk past and giggle at a man in pain on the floor. I would seriously recommend not staying here

My Mom is a current resident, I couldn't be more thankful for this great facility ! My Mom has dementia, and not easy to move around, great people like Vivian, Teresa, Dawn and the program administrator have been so caring to my mom, which means the world to me. If your considering where to have your loved one cared for, this facility and the employees are wonderful !
