Hazard Nursing Home

So grateful for the staff here that took care of my grandmother, she was also in the other nursing home in the county over Knott Co and its like night and day. Im sorry but knott co staff is awful and very rude and trust me take your love ones to the one 20 more min to Perry co. Instead. Everyone is so caring and loving.

The best staff and welcoming nursing home I've been in and around , I've had to place my mom in several in few different states and the locals should be more appreciative of what they have because trust me they don't know just how great this place is compared to other ones in the country. GREAT JOB

Im so tired of seeing my grandmothers room dirty, her clothes come up missing after i re buy over n over, i take her pop n snacks very next day they gone ! Absolutely awful! I wish i could take care of her myself but currently taking care of my very sick husband. They need to think how they would want to be treated! Plain awful im very upset!

Greatest workers and staff ever

We have had trouble with dietary restrictions not being considered. Corporate is always concerned with the money rather than the care. They serve the same meal to everyone. When a diabetic is consistently given starches throughout the week, you realize the people in charge must not care about their patients.The home has its own private doctor AND pharmacy, which seems like a true monopoly to me. When their pharmacy was out of a medicine my friend needed, they didnt bother trying to find it at another pharmacy but waited until it was restocked in their own. Thankfully one of the nurses located a bit elsewhere. We have also had trouble with several aids not wanting to do their jobs, often taking up to 20 minutes to answer when a patient buzzed. This being said, there are some sweet nurses and aides who truly do care for their patients.For short term care this facility may do well, but for long term, It does not. I truly wish my friend could be in a better place!
