Beautiful community, great food and very competitive pricing for assisted living facilities in the area! The memory care program is exceptional. The residents are always smiling, busy with some type of activity or out in the community. Dedicated management staff.

Terrible management! Always has staffing issues. The post from Kendra is a false post.... Her company provides nursing and therapy services at Demaree and they make a ton of money as the exclusive provider.

This facility is given one star only because there is not the option to give zero stars. The facility is very pretty, but the service and care the residents receive is very poor. The lack nursing care and lack of services is neglectful. If you have a loved one and are considering moving them to Demaree Crossing, please be cautioned. Don't be fooled by the pretty dcor. Look at state surveys and talk to resident family members. They will tell you the real truth. It is not somewhere you or a loved one want to be.

I recently toured this facility with family. It looked like the nicest we found. That is until we talked to some residents and family members of residents. They said they are always short staffed and that some residents have to wait 1 to 2 hours to leave the dining room after lunch. We saw this ourselves when we were there eating. One family member visiting from out of the country said she was moving her mom as fast as she could because of poor quality of care. And the lady who helped us her name was Kathy and she was releasing confidential resident information about people who live there in front of us. Horrible!

I have known several of the staff at Demaree Crossing for a number of years. They have an endearing passion for serving seniors and it shows in the way they address their needs and concerns. With their leadership, Demaree is one of the most caring communities on the south side of Indianapolis. They provide excellent service, support and a great lifestyle for those they serve. I have known the Executive Director, Kamela West, for more than ten years and she is outstanding. Not only is she a great leader, she is also a seasoned nurse who is called on by numerous professionals in long-term care when they have a challenge and need expert advice. If you choose Demaree Crossing for yourself, or a loved one, you won't find a better place to call home.
