My mother's care varied from day to day, depending on the nurse and aide. There were some nurses who really cared for their patients and understood the dying process, while others did not. After including Hospice, my mother's care got worse. The doctor on staff did not work well with Hospice and would not follow Hospice suggestions, so the nurses could not give her the medication she needed. When I asked about medication the nurses would be very hesitant to tell me what and when my mother had her medication. I would never suggest bringing Hospice to Manor Court.
