Brookdale Oak Park

Kitchen looks horrible it is filthy

Brookdale Oak Park has been wonderful. My wife's father spent a couple of years there before his eventual passing and we were impressed with their services. My mother moved to Brookdale a couple of years ago and she is doing great.

Wonderful Community to work for. The residents and staff are amazing!

Clearly this institution does not care about its residents at all! My fianc and I were grocery shopping at Trader Joes, and upon leaving, we saw a man that was shaking and struggling to walk. Its so cold outside, and the man was having a very hard time walking, so my fianc decided to help him to what we thought would be his car... The man told my fianc that he did not drive, but that he lived a bulilding over, so my fianc said we would drive him. His memory was not all there, but he was able to direct us to the nearby Brookdale where we waited for him to get safely inside. It is freezing outside, its about 8 degrees, but the windchill is about -5 degrees and strong winds. They should not let their residents out in this weather without someone accompanying them! It is dangerously cold out, and on top of that, the Trader Joes parking is a high-traffic area. So disappointed in this facility. If you have family members here, PLEASE check in on them!!
