Aperion Care Forest Park

My husband was transferred up there for therapy and I been trying too call and check on him but that not going too happened. When I call I'm put on hold for a half a hour or more can't talk too the nurse because she claim she's busy if I can come visit him I would be up there every day I'm sorry he was sended there. I hope nothing happens too him while he's there

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not send your loved one to this facility. Before I get into the bad, there were at least a couple of the staff that helped my elderly grandparent while there and I appreciate them. But the rest of the staff from the CNA's, nurses, rehabilitation staff and social worker TERRIBLE. My grandparent was sent there for rehabilitation. My grandparent came out worse than when they went in. The patients get very little food. If they have an accident they must sit in their depends or diapers for a very long period of time before anyone comes to changed them. Which cause my grandparent to develop bedsores. She is now in a hospital getting treatment and recovering from this ordeal. Shame on the doctor from Rush hospital who sent her there. He should quit practicing. The list goes on and on. I'm thankful we were able to get my grandparent out of there but I feel terrible and pray for the people who are still there. They really need help. Please avoid this place at all costs.

This place is terrible

This is a terrible place. Please don't take your relatives to this place. The CNA,s have very nasty attitudes and the management don't care.
