Was looking for a facility offering activities, whereby I can become engaged and meet people.Unfortunately the day I went to obtain information, facility was closed because seniors were on a day trip.Tara Williams saw me and immediately opened the door with a warm greeting. She proceeded to give me some information and the January event schedule. With a welcome like that, must return.

This is a very nice, modern facility that offers a variety of activities for senior citizens ages 55 and over. The program runs Monday - Friday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm which includes lunch. Activities vary from card games, board games, exercise classes and field trips all at a very nominal cost. Participants may even qualify for transportation. In the back of the center is a large community garden with plots that can be rented for the season. There is plenty of parking and the center is located inside Clarkdale Park so the participants have access to the track for walking. An excellent program offered by Cobb County.
