My father was in memory care for 6 months some staff go above and beyond others not laundry was a nightmare, I've come in to see my father dressed as a homeless man. I purchased so many towels ,jeans, shorts, and socks. They were marked but the articles were never in his room and his clothes were all missing itgot so bad I began to do his laundry and still over half of the dirty clothes were not his. Be careful of what you bring in with your love one as things tend to go missing pictures, tapestry, etc I understand the residents take things but when the articles never turn up it makes you wonder how they got removed from the unit.

The care is second to none. There are newer assisted living facilities in Ocala, but none that provide the care that Paddock does. I wouldnt want my mother Ethel anywhere else.

My father was here, and we all felt he was very well cared for. The staff took great care of him. He got stronger and made real progress. I cannot express the full extent of my family's gratitude. The staff were completely responsive to us and to our father. My deepest appreciation.

the abuse my mother suffered here, broken foot and chemical restraints( she was drugged beyond comprehension at brookdales request without my consent) Is beyond belief! I had to file complaints with HCA, DCF ACCHA & domectic abuse hotline as well as Ocala Police dept. DO NOT LET YOUR MOM INSIDE A PLACE LIKE THIS. They will abuse her and then drug her THEN REFUSE TO LET YOU SEE HER AFTER YOU FILE COMPLAINTS!! brookdale is criminal and needs governmental intervention. BEWARE!!!
