Cloverdale Assisted Living

My mom spent a couple of years at a local (Carrollwood) ALF. It was the nicest one in the area. But as my mom's health declined they (understandably) raised the rates a bit. Well the last time they raised it - the increase was over $1,300 more a MONTH!! That didn't result in additional people being hired or anything like that. Her care didn't change at all - so I had to seek out another option. Luckily there was an opening at Cloverdale (which is even closer to my home). The people that work there are super nice! It's run out of a house that's been modified to support the needs of the residents. The family members of the other residents are nice as well. Everyone is treated like a family. At first it was a bit strange - it didn't feel real. But now that my mom has been there for several months I've come to truly appreciate the love and attention that she gets here. I'd never go back to one of those big ALFs again. If your loved one is in need of special care (memory or otherwise) - give Cloverdale a look.
