I was at wits end with my Mother who had Dementia with Lewy Bodies. My husband and I have been caring for her for almost 5 years, 3 of which we lived together. It's hard being a loved one and care taker. We had not had any sleep in weeks and we were completely worn out when I found Benton House. I was on the internet and Lisa Picard from Benton House reached out to me and I can tell ypu, she was a gift from God, not only for me and my husband but ultimately for my mother as well. She was kind and compassionate and understood exactly what we needed. The staff and Lisa helped me through an extremely hard time. They offered respuit care and a 30 day program until we decided to make it her home. The staff treated her with kindness and respect and alot of patience.I want to thank everyone at Benton House for helping myself, my mother and our family with caring for my Mom.I especially want to thank Lisa Picard because she knew exactly what I needed and she was kind and understanding.I also want to do a thank you to Barb as well. She runs the memory care area and she is wonderful with the residents.THANK YOU to all the staff!!!!From the bottom of our hearts. Benton House was truly a blessing for us!!
