Hawthorne Village of Brandon

I have attempted to contact them to see about my mother living in the facility. I never received an answer. I tried to call at 2:30 PM and the answer machine said I reached the after hours number!I also attempted to go through the website in the 'contact us' part of the website...nothing. Do not waste your time with this facility!

This place may seem beautiful from the outside but this is not a recommended place for any patient too stay for rehab. My mother was in their care for two week. I want too say with the exception of 3 nurses the Rest of the staff are not pleasant their morale is so low they dont care for patients. Their nursing assistant need more training as they dont know what they are doing. There are patients in there that are forgotten. The food is disgusting and they so call have activities for them is not very true. The rehabilitation center with PT trainers I will give them A+. If that is something that your looking for your parents take them as an outpatient. Their care plan coordinator team very disorganized they cant even coordinate medical equipment for the patient to be ready for their home. That happen in my case my mother was immediately sent home with nothing not even a wheelchair I had too use their loaner. Unbelievable they are for the money and that is their image. If I can give them a 0 for star I will. They are so understaff to take care of all the patients and thats the treatment that these patient receive is very disappointing Im glad that I visited everyday too make sure my mother was taken care of because they cant even have their room clean. Just want too leave my opinion and concern here instead of sending it too them personally since they wont fix any issues. Think twice before bringing them here.

My mother stayed after recovering from ankle surgery. Their therapy department is excellent, and the quality of nursing is too.

The nurses here are negligent. They don't provide proper medical care and they leave patients with blood all over them. They have left medical devices on patients unnecessarily for hours. Our family was told that they don't provide accident reports when incidents happen in the facility. I don't know how this place is still in business.

I am the daughter of the late Lois Soper. I just wanted to say thank you for everything therapy and the nurses did for her.i knpw she was kinda loud at times but you still took good care of her and i wanted to thank everyone involved in her care.
