Brisas del Caribe ALF

Love this home for my dad. The place is very clean, the staff is so caring and full of life. I would bring my dad there again! Thumbs UP!

Our family did the homework prior to choosing Brisas del Caribe. We visited multiple facilities and were totally disheartened by what we saw. Once we stepped into Las Brisas, we knew this was exactly the place we as a family needed for our Mom. The location is bright, inviting, clean to the oomph degree. It smells fresh and when food is cooking, it smells like home! The residents are treated with much LOVE, CARE and RESPECT and they feel like part of a family. Im not exaggerating when I use the word LOVE b/c you would expect CARE and RESPECT from these type of facilities, though sadly, it doesnt always happen that way. The owners (Millie, Jose), and caregivers (Freddie, Benita, Miriam, Janet) are very vested in their roles and go about things in such a way that you feel this is their MINISTRY and not their job. Theres a GODLINESS that transpires into KINDNESS to what they do and how they do it; you only need to be there a couple of minutes to feel it. I live out of town and visit my Mom once a month so my visits are full day visits. I get to see the days routine and its seamless. They are consistent/timely with daily living activities and at the same time, they go by each individuals needs. You need to be very professional, caring and intuitive to achieve this balance. They care for the residents like they would for their own family members, like I would care for my Mom if I were able to. They dont just keep her clean, well fed, etc. they keep her HAPPY and thats what makes me feel like we have her in the absolutely BEST home possible.ITS A SECOND FAMILY TO MY MOM AND TO THOSE OF US WHO LOVE AND CARE ABOUT HER PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING. ----------------------------------------------------------OO-----------------------------------------------------Para los que hablan Espaol, slo les puedo decir que este es un lugar sin igual. Mi Mam es residente aqu y como familia sentimos que no hubisemos podido encontrar un mejor lugar para lla. Las instalaciones son prstinas, la comida tiene nuestro sabor y alio Latino, y en resumen, los cuidados que se les brinda a cada uno de los residentes son EXCELENTES! Tanto los dueos, Millie y Jos, como las personas que cuidan a los residentes (Freddie, Benita, Miriam y Janet) son personas idneas, profesionales, cariosas y respetuosas con stos y con sus familias. En mi familia decimos que llos asumen esto ms como un MINISTERIO que como un trabajo y por lo tanto, los resultados no pueden ser otra cosa que EXTRAORDINARIOS.Ha sido para nosotros una bendicin haber encontrado a Brisas del Caribe para poderle brindar a mi Mam un cuidado IDEAL en esta etapa de su vida. Lo recomiendo sin reservas y ojal Millie y Jos pudieran abrir otros HOGARES de este tipo para ser de bendicin a muchas ms familias porque su manera de abordar el cuidado del anciano est centrada en una labor de AMOR Y RESPETO POR EL INDIVIDUO Y SU FAMILIA.5/29/20This is an update to my review posted about a year ago. I promised Millie and Jos that I would update it and it's taken me a while to update my review because my Mom passed away in October of 2019 and I just needed some time to be able to gather my thoughts and put into words. Without a doubt, the care that they provide for my Mom until the very end was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Hospice was involved during her last two months and they worked together with Brisas in unison to make her last days comfortable and dignified. From day 1 to my Mom's last day, all that I saw and witnessed was loving care, respect and an earnest desire to make her feel loved and comfortable in a safe, clean and I would even venture to say, a joyful environment despite the sadness involved in the difficult process of letting go. I have a heart filled with gratitude towards them and I sincerely hope that their business grows so that they can offer the same level of care for so many families in need of quality care. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS THEM ABUNDANTLY!
