I see staff turnover is high but consider that every single position has to be cleared for crimes, each persons' deportment has to be evaluated and each new hire must be accepting and loving about any quirks every resident demonstrates. Try to fill that bill on any job and there is bound to be a larger-than-normal recidivism rate and constant staff shortages.Very shortly after his arrival my brother was embraced into the community, he was seen as a valued addition and given the attention he asked for and needed. Concerns were resolved in a timely manner.Dining is not gourmet but the food is good , tasty and healthy, and individual preferences are solicited and fulfilled when possible. At minimum the food director will consider requests. There is a daily menu that rotates at least twice a month with several additional choices each week.My brother went for sitting in front of a TV all day every day to being busy and entertained with in-house activities and outings every week. He went from being grumpy to being satisfied to being happy. It is an ideal place for him and a convenient location for me. Brookdale is a blessing to my family.

Lazy staff. Bad attitudes. Poor treatment of residents.

Extremely rude staff. Receptionist did not acknowledge us and just continued to eat and be on her phone and then a larger black woman walked up as I finally asked if we could talk to someone in marketing and said she was in a conference. We were walking out and I heard her talking about us. Not a place Ill ever send referrals to again. Weve already sent 2 people there as well.

The facility was ok for the price when our grandmother moved in 2.5 yrs ago & its seemed to have gone downhillreally quick throughout this last year. A lot of staff turnover with upper management as well as with the care givers. If they do get good caregivers, they are not there long because of the work load that is put on them to overcompensate for the bad ones & they eventually move on, which I dont blame them. I do not feel that the facility communicates well within their facility. Our grandmother is not happy with her services for the money she is having to pay. We are hoping that with this new Director (Chris) we will see a significant change in services & qualified staff as well as retention. If not, we will be looking at alternative facilities to move our loved one.

Mostly no one works here for long. They made my wife who is an angel cry. I would only put my hated enemies in here. I think they have chosen short staffing as a way to make money. Nationwide reviews are pretty much the same story. If I live for another twenty years I will never have a kind word for them.
