We moved my mom from FL into The Forum at Tucson's Independent Living unit several years ago. She had been very reluctant to leave FL and give up her independence. But at The Forum, she loved her apartment, the food was excellent, the staff caring and respectful and other residents lively and enjoying life there. She is a shy person, but she made friends easily with the help of staff who made introductions and found her a seat at the dining table with friendly and fun fellow residents who made her feel welcome. When she needed additional care, she transitioned easily into Assisted Living /The Neighborhood. She feels safe and well cared for by loving and compassionate care givers. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, The Forum is closed to all but essential visitors, so she is lonely and bored. But when I ask her how they're taking care of her, she is enthusiastic and positive: she feels extremely well cared for and meals in her room have actually been excellent!A few weeks ago, I learned that my brother (in Michigan) was nearing the end of his life from multiple sclerosis. It was important to me to facilitate a last goodbye between him and my mom. Kelly, The Forum's director of Assisted Living, went to extraordinary lengths to make this happen. We kept our masks on and maintained social distancing through a propped-open door, my mom on the inside and me on the outside, and Kelly stayed through the entire conversation, holding the phone for my mom and 'interpreting' so my nearly-deaf mom and my barely-audible brother could understand each other. It was a very sad day, with many tears, but my mom felt at peace having been able to tell her son how much she loved him, and he was able to do the same.I an thankful that my mom is at The Forum.

Warm and inviting. All the residents I met were very pleasant, staff attentive, immaculately clean and dad will love it here.

I spent a fantastic evening dining at the The Forum for a special event. The food was amazing and the staff took excellent care of us. I was pretty impressed as to how nice the community was. Not what I expected in a senior care living.

My mother was in the skilled nursing facility at the Forum for six days after a brief hospital stay. She was basically ignored by the staff. She was there for OT, PT and wound care follow up They said since she could dress herself OT was not needed. PT on the other hand was practically non-existent. Her wound care was non existent beyond the initial check in to verify otherwise they never followed up. I will not can not recommend the skilled nursing facility at the Forum and would not take my mother there again. It certainly did not live up to it's reputation. 8/6/18 Received a response today from the owner, hopefully they will respond with a contact name and number and I will be happy to post.
